Building Trust Strengthening Community

The Ethnic Policing Forum(EPF)

Fostering dialogue in Dublin’s Northern Inner City

The Ethnic Policing Forum operates within the Northern Inner City of Dublin, working to bridge the gap between ethnic minority communities and local law enforcement. By promoting dialogue, education, and community-led engagement, the Forum serves as a trusted platform for addressing concerns and building mutual understanding. Rooted in the needs of the local community, we are committed to strengthening relationships, fostering inclusion, and driving meaningful, lasting change.

Governance & Oversight: The Ethnic Policing Forum operates in collaboration with the Store Street Garda Division, ensuring accountability, transparency, and alignment with statutory policing structures.

About us

Community outreach and engagement

A key aspect of Ethnic Policing Forum’s work is listening and understanding communities’ experiences of policing and being policed and the challenges they face.

We do this through programs of meetings, one on one Garda participation and engagements with the general community, ethnic minority, asylum seekers, stakeholders and groups, but also through Garda consultations information campaigns and events through out the Northern city areas.
